"My husband and I drove from San Diego to Arizona. I called to check in along the way as I knew we would be arriving late. The young man who answered the phones didn't have our reservation, knew nothing about it, and couldn't find us in the computer. I explained to him that we booked online with hotel-x and he didn't even know the website and had never heard of it. So I asked him, are there rooms available? He stated yes. I said to please book us a room and that we would get this cleared up on Monday. So we get there about 11:00 pm. It took us a good 35 minutes to get registered. The guy was nice enough, but not very well trained.
The rooms leave something to be desired. They are old and look like something straight out of the 70's. The sofa had holes in it, the room needed to be dusted, the wet bar had nothing in it.
The person at the front desk in the morning was wonderful. She was very apologetic and completely professional. The young guy the evening before was actually a nice person, just a little skatterbrained. I would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone"

Access to the 202 Loop is a mile north on Scottsdale Road and the 202 Loop connects to I-10 and AZ 60. The hotel is two miles from Big Surf Wave Park and Phoenix Zoo, seven miles from Arizona Mills and Bank One Ball Park, and 25 miles from Phoenix International Raceway. The hotel offers a complimentary continental breakfast, fitness room, putting green, pool, Jacuzzi, meeting room, complimentary guest laundry, food cupboard with 25-cent soft drinks, and free local phone calls. There is also a 24-hour coffee shop directly across the street from the hotel. All rooms have two TVs with cable, CD players, executive desks and swivel chairs, full-size kitchens with ranges and all the utensils, microwaves, coffeemakers, irons, hairdryers, safes, two telephones with dataports and voicemail, sofa sleepers, and choice of king beds or two double beds.
